Gajar halwa(Pressure cooker) : Indian Food & Cooking Recipes

Ingredients
Baby carrot 400 gm
Condensed milk 200 gm
Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
Reduce fat Milk 1/2 cup
Assorted nuts Dry roasted
Unsalted butter 1 stick or ghee as per
own choice

Cooking Instructions
Wash & peel baby carrot.
Add milk & carrot in a pressure cooker.
Cook till 3-4 whistles.
Let it cool down.it will become soft & it get mashed with a spatula in chunks or individual choice.
Open lid add condensed milk & cook till liquid evaporates.
Add Butter & cook till mixture start leaving fat ..from sides. Add cardamom powder & Dry roasted assorted nuts

Tips
Instead of whole carrot one can add grated one.
Condensed milk quantity depend on individual taste bud.increase or decrease.
Any nuts one can use.dry roasted or fried in ghee.
Instead of unsalted butter / ghee can also be added.
